jame and i had a rather interesting escapade just with the sole aim of watching Windstruck.
cabbed to lido only to gaze forlornly at the black screen which told us Windstruck was only at 7.45pm. so we called 100 to check times, went to McCafe to take a peek at their newspaper and cabbed to marina square which was the only place showing Windstruck.
jaywalked from marina mandarin hotel to marina square much to the amusement of squatting smoking cooks when we yelled "NOW!" just because we were too timid to jaywalk that massive road.
marina square was renovating and we walked half a round only to be told that the entrance was at the OTHER side of the road.
so we jaywalked or jayran more like, back to the other side of the road while those squatting smoking cooks continued to snigger.
binged on ice cream and foot long cheese hotdogs while crying buckets during Windstruck.
after weeks of empty claims such as "i wanna watch windstruck!" "lets watch windstruck!", i finally caught it! it was abit of a spoiler and an anti-climax due to the fact that i'd read the filmotography reviews which mentally prepared me for the disjointed scenes.
admittedly, they were a tad bit disjointed at the beginning as they jumped from scene to scene, date to date, sweet to jampacked action rather rapidly while i had no real concept of their relationship.
but at the so called turning point of the movie, it did turn my confusion around because jame and i cried buckets during the movie.
i would spill out the movie scene by scene, tidbit by tidbit but i wouldn't wanna be a spoiler.
except i guess i must bear in mind that most cinemas aren't even screening that movie anymore because i took so long to watch it.
well despite the itchy furriness in my throat and the random shivers, i don't think i had that bad a day.
and tomorrow is going to have to be bring-cereal-and-waterbottle-to-school day.
i don't understand how i managed to spend 60bucks in three days on food.
