so the winds of change blew in again and it was quite a messy situation.
but at least i know He answered my prayers and i'm really very grateful because God is good!

and winning is such a funny thing.
it matters so much, but yet from another angle, it doesn't seem to mean anything at all.

but right now, i wanna beat hc and win.
especially after i heard someone sniggering at our supposedly short ACJC uniform skirts when her squash skirt is practically right below her butt.
and she doesn't know how to sit or stretch discreetly.
gah, talk about vengeful!

and i ripped these pictures off matt but we all look so colourful and happy!

ARTS RETRO NIGHT!

THE BOYS.

THE GIRLS! eeks i look like i'm pregnant.

hurhur :) me, turts, and his blingbling. btw, turts was bestdressed male!

was reading the newspaper today and i felt so sad but yet so warm when i read the article on weikong.
sad that it all happened so fast and it didn't seem too long ago that weikong was mucking around with us in class but yet warm knowing that all of us are knit by love and care for him.

and i guess it brought me back to the day where mus and i were talking about religion.
mus said everytime he heard devotions on how if you fear and obey God He will protect you, he thought immediately of weikong and how, in that sense, God didn't protect weikong.

and then i proceeded to explain that it was God's will.
that He brings disaster sometimes to show people that He is God and only He can help us, especially at times when we think we are invincible.

and it really warmed my heart to know that now weikong's entire family has surrendered their lives to Christ because of this incident.
and i know that it was God's plan, really, because even though such a nasty thing happened to weikong, his whole family is even closer than ever and God's children has come back to Him!

and i guess we'd always muse and lament what is going to happen to weikong now.
he can't go back to school, he'll probably never play rugby again, what is he going to do?
and even now, we don't have the answers.

but then my grandmother was telling me about her pastor.
you know the Macdonald House bombing in the 1970s? well, her church's pastor was there when the bomb went off.
and he suffered terrible injuries and was blind in one eye.
the doctors even told his parents that his chances of survival were very slim, and that they better prepare themselves for his death.
but he lived on!
and now he's married with kids and he's living a fulfilling life as a pastor.

i guess it's how God uses the unlikely people.
how God turns a disaster into a miracle to show us that He really is our powerful God :)

so i'd just like all of you reading this to keep weikong in your prayers.
pray to God and let Him lay His healing hand on weikong :)
