ARGHHH! of course its stella! whoever uhh is.. which i think sounds like ta.. yes that HAHAHAH person has to be stella. of course its stella! who else can it be?!!? and stella.. yes play for acjc.. win for acjc.. how can i play and win if im fat and lousy?? how can i eat all i want and end up a blob of lard and be fit and healthy and stella yes im trying to be comfortable in my own skin.. but well i can make healthy improvements right?! grr.. im confused.

its two weeks to prelims and its making me wonder what i've been doing with life and what am i GOING to do with my life. when i was young i used to have all these crazy notions and ambitions and i still keep some of them with me. of course my dreams and ambitions change as i grow older but most of them are around the same if u get what i mean.

when i was in primary1 i had all these crazy ideas of being a docter/lawyer and well those were practically the only jobs we knew when we were that young right? but because i started writing these poems since i was 7 (dont mock me) i decided when i was in primary3 i wanted to be a writer or a poet or something along those lines. and when i went up to primary6, i started thinking a little more widely into this field and decided perhaps journalism was my dream. and of course down (or should i say up?) into secondary school, i began thinking of other job options, for example going into advertising, PR, media or journalism. and at this age, where money, grades, looks, image blahblahblah is so important i have to consider wages, passion for the job and obviously what my forte is. and although i'd still love to be a writer, i'm starting to come to terms that perhaps my english isn't adequate enough, the singapore market is TINY and the pay is pittance. then there's journalism.. i still dont think my english is up to standard (just read the newspapers for goodness sake! they're so.. hmm chim) and am i really up to it? my mother says i'm too unobservant and disorganised to be one.. and my friends say i'm not serious enough to be a newspaper journalist or work in channelnewsasia (yes i did consider that). so am i supposed to envision myself working in a tabloid magazine or some entertainment magazine.. which i can say is pretty fun from the looks of it but is that what i want myself to be? and the pay is probably peanuts too. and the market for advertising and PR is so tiny in singapore i'll probably be jobless for a long long time..

its so hard to keep up with your dreams as you grow older. circumstances change and as you grow older, you grow imperceptibly wiser, and all these things like money status and job markets which didnt mean a thing when you were young and two feet tall suddenly matter so much.

its two weeks to prelims. i'd better do something about my life. so at least when i get out into society, i have more options. dear dear prelims. GRR. and olevels of course.
